Cecil The Saddest Of snakes

I’m simply the saddest snake you ever did see
I miss my home and I miss my family
If you could make me smile I’d be ever so happy
I’m Cecil the saddest of snakes

I used to slither in the long tall grass
And swim in rivers blue
I used to scale up scaly trees
And go sunbathing too
If you could take me back I’d be ever so happy
I’m Cecil the saddest of snakes

Perhaps some day I will return
To forests of my youth
To slither in the long tall grass
And swim in rivers blue
If you could take me back I’d be ever so happy
I’m Cecil the saddest of snakes

The zookeeper has taken me
And set me free
In among some long tall grass
And other snakes like me
If only you could see me now I’m ever so happy
I’m Cecil the happiest of snakes

I spend my days in long tall grass
And in the waters blue
Playing with the other snakes
And going sunbathing too
If only you could see me now I’m ever so happy
I’m Cecil the happiest of snakes
